TEHRAN – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani has described successful politicians as those who follow the path of the clergy and the leadership.

The leadership is “not only a religious source for the nation but it is a powerful element of safeguarding the national interests and it is the source of the country’s national unity,” he told MPs told a parliamentary session on Tuesday.
He also stated that the leadership gives legitimacy to posts and responsibilities in the establishment and any political grouping could fail if it does not follow the leadership
